The food in this place is soooo delicious!!! My gf and I had the fish burger and the corvina with creole sauce - very tasty and fresh. To drink a sweet pina colada and the Calaloo Splash made with fresh coconut water. We came back later for more pina coladas and snacks. The staff is really friendly and the music plus the ocean view is super relaxing. Coming back for sure!
While spending a few months in and around Taboga Island, Calaloo quickly became my favourite hangout not only for the food but also for its friendly ambience and location on the beach. Great place to enjoy a variety of foods including fish & chips, a scrumptious seafood chowder, and homemade chicken satay. I also love the fact I was able to get a Canadian Caesar (similar to a Bloody Mary but made with Clamato juice). As a bonus, service extends onto the beach where chair & umbrella rentals are also available through Calaloo.
We had here one of the best evenings in our panama holiday. The awesome curry or my favorite the chicken with the spicy peanut sauce were more than excellent. Good food, great people, couple of beers and purple rain. Can you ask for more?
